Michael Rodriguez, Ph.D., psychologist, is in private practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He provides evaluations for Private Attorneys, Social Security, Vocational Rehabilitation, The Federal Bureau of Prisons, The Federal Bureau of Investigation, the District Attorney, and Forensic evaluations for the Public Defender. He also provides evaluations in Spanish. Dr. Rodriguez has been asked to provide evaluation services for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Anchorage, Alaska.
Dr. Rodriguez has served with the New Mexico Board of Psychologists on two different occasions. He served from 1985 through 1988 under then governor, Tony Anaya. He was reappointed to the Board in New Mexico in 2003 by Governor Bill Richardson. Dr. Rodriguez served two years on the board, one year as chair.
While in Graduate School Dr. Rodriguez was a recipient of the American Psychological Association Minority Fellowship, he worked as a congressional intern for congressman Henry B. Gonzalez, and completed a pre-doctoral internship at USC LAC medical center. He was trained to evaluate and treat both adults and children.
Dr. Rodriguez has also been involved in working with the New Mexico Psychological Association as their previous webmaster and list serv administrator. Dr. Rodriguez provides custody evaluations for a number of jurisdictions in New Mexico and has a special interest in Child Custody.
